NEW ORLEANS – Children’s Hospital is proud to announce the opening of its newest outpatient facility on the Northshore of Lake Pontchartrain. Children’s Hospital Northshore Center, located in the heart of Covington, offers twelve pediatric specialties and appointments with the same world-class physicians as Children’s Hospital’s main campus.

“Offering pediatric specialty care close to home for our Northshore families has been a goal of Children’s for some time.” said Mary Perrin, president and CEO of Children’s Hospital. “Our pediatric-specific specialty services will complement the quality healthcare that Children’s Hospital’s primary care doctors already provide to our Northshore families.”

The Northshore Center offers appointments with 23 pediatric specialists including:

The Center is equipped with the latest technology including X-ray, Electrocardiogram (EKG) Echocardiogram (ECHO), Bladder Scanners, Uroflow Dynamics and ENT scopes.
